board committees

Village trustees are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Village Board to two of the following four committees.

Finance Committee deals with the annual budget, requests for payment (vouchers) and any financial decisions the Village might have to make.

Public Safety Committee handles matters concerning the safety of the Citizens and the Village.

Public Works Committee is responsible for the streets and buildings of the Village.

Parks and Recreation Committee is responsible for the park system within the Village.
