Billing Information
Bills for sewer service are sent quarterly in March, June, September, and December.  Service is billed at $90 per quarter per residential unit.  We have several options for payment.  You may:

  • Sign up for ACH withdrawal by completing this form and returning it to Village Hall.
  • Mail in or drop off your payment to Village Hall:

        Village Clerk-Treasurer
        913 S. Wisconsin Drive
        Howards Grove, WI 53083

  • Make an online payment via this website. You will need the following information:
  1. Name on the Sewer account.
  2. Property Address.
  3. Contact Phone number.
  4. Sewer account number.
  5. Dollar amount of your Sewer bill.

For the typical $90 sewer bill, there will be a $3.00 service fee to pay be credit/ debit card.  If you have the above information, and wish to proceed, click here to make your online payment.  You will be leaving the Howards Grove website for the GovPayNet website to complete your transaction.

Bills for Rental Properties
Bills are sent to the property owners only.  If you have rental property, it is the owners' responsibility to provide the bills to or collect payment from your renters.  If sewer bills are not paid, the delinquent amounts are placed on the property tax bill, therefore, we only bill the property owner so you are aware of all outstanding balances.

Vacant Rates
Temporary Vacancies (Winter Snowbirds)
If you will be out of the area for more than 45 days, you may request a vacant rate for the time you are gone.  To qualify for this service, we ask that you prepay your vacant rate fees for the period you are gone.  Please contact the Clerk-Treasurer's office to request a temporary vacant rate.

Long-term Vacancies (Empty Rentals, Homes)

If you have a rental property that is vacant, or if you have a home that is not occupied, for more than three months, you may set up your account for the vacant rate.  We do require the property to be vacant for at least three months before we make the change, and you must notify us as soon as the property is no longer vacant.
